VAN PI Compatibility

VAN PI Supported Systems and Devices

Consumer General

- You can switch all consumers up to a current of 10A on and off. The relay board has eight relays that can be integrated into the system as switches.

Typical consumers:

- Refrigerator

- Auxiliary heating

- Headlights

- Pump

The relays are galvanically isolated from the system. This means that 230V devices can also be switched directly.

Heating

Various heaters are supported.

The simplest way to control a heater is to connect the heater's switching contact to a relay.

Heating systems that can already be integrated via protocol.

- Autoterm 2D&4D (via USB - Plug and Play)

- Webasto (Wbus <3.5 via USB - settings in the web interface required)

- Truma via MQTT (inetbox2mqtt)

- "Chinese Diesel Heater" via Arduino adapter

Switch

- 6x switch inputs via soldering points on the relay board.

- Zigbee switch via Zigbee adapter

(See tutorial)

- Wifi switch via http or MQTT API

LED

- LEDs switch relay

- Dim LEDs via DIMMY

Temperature sensors

Digital temperature sensors are supported.

- 4x DS18B20 on the relay board

- 2x DS18B20 on Dimmy

Battery monitoring

- VAN PI Shunt

- Victron shunt via VE.direkt

- Bluetooth batteries with JBD BMS (e.g. Liontron, Powerkönig, PowerQeen, Redodo)

- Wired BMS (Daly, JBD)

- VAN PI WIFI SHUNT *SOON

Water tank sensors

- Resistance sensors

- Capacitive sensors (Votronic FL

Votronics 15-50K, 12-24K)

Display

- Pekaway touch display

- Smartphones, laptops and tablets via web interface

- Custom Sonoff NS Panel (Tutorial)

other devices

- Maxxfan (Arduino IR, RJ45)

- GOK Senso4s gas scale via Bluetooth

Open Source

More information about new devices on Github

VAN PI is an open source project and we want to support more devices and protocols through the open approach. So please help us improve the system.

There is much more to it....

take a look at the variety of tutorials.
