New Beta Image v1.1.2

New Beta Image v1.1.2

There is a new beta image at https://links.vanpi.de/downloads.html .

The Wifi firmware was updated as in an already Replaced existing thread to make Wifi/Bluetooth connections more stable.

A few extensions have been added to the HTTP API.

You can now view your configured Wi-Fi networks and delete them if necessary (Config > Wifi), but this only works if the access point is turned off. You can also switch between Wi-Fis (but this does not guarantee that this Wi-Fi will be automatically selected again after a reboot)

You can now connect to hidden SSIDs (enter Wi-Fi manually)

When you change the access point, it checks whether the password is between 8 and 63 characters long.

If you enter a van name in the config, it will be displayed in the title bar of the dashboard.
To turn it off, simply delete the name again (the touch display only updates if it is activated at the same time)
The charts in the Monitor tab have been slightly adjusted and now show the following values:

  • Temperatures are measured every 60s, the chart shows an average value after 15min (15 values)
  • Battery SoC is measured every 60s, the chart shows the lowest value after 5min (5 values)
  • Battery volt is measured every 60s, the chart shows an average value after 3min (3 values)
  • Battery AMP is measured every 60s, the chart shows an average value after 3min (3 values)
  • CPU usage is measured every 30s, the chart shows the highest value after 1.5min (3 values)
  • TTGO is measured every 60s and the average value is displayed after 5min (5 values), with the minutes rounded to the nearest quarter of an hour.

The values shown in the corresponding headings above the charts always show the last measured value, i.e. the current exact value!

A progress bar is also being developed so that you can see how far the process has progressed when updating via the Internet. This is not yet included in the BETA, but will be included with the official release.

Have fun trying!
