With this power supply, we wanted to use the 12 V that was already there, but also have an aesthetic solution without a huge visible power supply. When you install it now, you only see a simple USB-C socket and nothing of the final power supply. If you now travel with your camper, you no longer have to worry, as the Pekaway power supply is permanently installed.

Which devices can be charged?
The power supply supports various charging protocols. The most important here is the PD 3.0 protocol. This supports up to 100W charging power. So you don't have to worry about which device you connect. The power supply communicates with the device to be charged and automatically adjusts the correct voltage and the required current; everything happens fully automatically.
How do I connect the power supply?
The power pack is designed to be permanently connected to the vehicle electronics/body electronics. To do this, simply connect plus (red) and minus (black) to the battery voltage. The best way to do this is to connect the power pack to your fuse block. The power pack must be protected with 15A. The power pack has a standby current of 0.3W. This is very little, but it is recommended to equip the charger with a switch. Or you can use our relay board for this and switch it conveniently via a relay from the touchscreen or web interface.
What is the maximum charging power possible?
The power supply meets the full specifications of PD3.0. This means that you can count on a permanent 100W charging power at 20V and 5A and can therefore charge or operate larger laptops/MacBooks without any problems.
Why is the power supply in two parts?
We have separated the actual power supply from the charging socket to allow you to install it in a space-saving manner. In principle, all devices can also be connected directly to the power supply.
Do I still need a 230V inverter?
Many smaller inverters are used just for this and to charge laptops and other electronic devices. Most people use the normal 230V power supply from the device. This approach is outdated from a cost, efficiency and space perspective due to this power supply.
