Visiting Schalldose On Tour
Last week we had a meeting with the bus builders in the Stuttgart area. There we showed them our system and discussed how we can work more closely together in the future. We then installed our devices (see list below) in the MAN TGE. In addition to the installation, we connected his existing Victron system to our VanPi via MQTT. We then visited other users of our system and looked at how they installed the devices. It became clear that despite the same components, different implementations had resulted.
Here is the list of components that we have installed/integrated:
- Control center: VanPi - Relayboard + Votronic tank sensor
- VanPi touchscreen
- VanPi Dimmy
- VanPi - IoT Bridge
- Internet via LTE ROUTER (VANPI is then in client mode)
- Autoterm heating via USB
- Relays for: pumps, outside lights, heaters, rear lights -
- 1x temperature sensor
- Philipps Hue with radio switches
- Apple HomeKit via VANPI's integrated Homebridge function
